We’re your technology partner, and one account manager handles all these engagements for your account.

One quote from Pace can cover many parts of your infrastructure. Our account managers, engineers and crews do that work themselves, so you are not juggling several vendors.

We do six of the eight anywhere in the US.

Security systems and AV are installed around Chicago, where our crews and trucks work from Naperville. Your account manager quotes all eight, and is the person you call about any of them.

The brands we sell

We sell the brands your IT staff already know, and our crews install them around Chicago.

We standardize our security systems on Genetec and Axis, Crestron is our leading AV platform, and CrowdStrike and Huntress are among the tools on the computers we manage. We buy from these manufacturers and their distributors as an independent reseller, so one quote from your account manager can cover several of them at once.

Pace SchedulerPace Scheduler counts who is on, every day and every night, as the schedule changes. It warns the supervisor before a request would leave a shift below minimum.

  • Pace Scheduler

Police, sheriff, fire, dispatch and corrections agencies use it to lay out a year of rotations, keep every shift at its minimum and fill open shifts with overtime in seniority order.

  • Pace Timeclocks

A wall-mounted tablet records each punch, by badge or code, against the shift that person was scheduled to work.

  • Pace Policy Search

An officer asks a question in plain words, and the answer quotes the agency’s policy manual, with the section and the page.

  • Pace Secure AI

City staff ask questions of the city’s documents and connected systems, and each person sees only the files that person may open.

What happens to your order

Your laptops arrive imaged, tagged, tested and on record.

When we set up an order for you, it stops five times at 2040 Corporate Lane, and the Pace Hub shows you where it is at every stop. Many orders don’t need any setup at all, and those simply ship straight to you from the vendor or the distributor.

01Your list

Your account manager checks every line of your list.

You can send it to us however you have it (a spreadsheet, a PDF, a part number or even a photograph of last year’s order), and if you upload it to the Pace Hub, AI reads it first and the account manager for your area checks it from there.

Then your account manager quotes it on your contract (TIPS, OMNIA Partners, IPHEC or a purchase order), and quotes for standard items usually go out the same business day.

02Received

We record every serial number at our receiving desk.

While the equipment is on its way from the manufacturer, the Hub shows it as Coming to Pace.

Once it reaches our receiving desk in Naperville, we record each serial number against your order, and the Hub changes to At Pace.

03Set up

Each laptop gets your image, your asset tag and a test.

Our imaging lab has more than 100 stations, which is why we can set up a school district’s rollout of 1,300 to 1,600 laptops there before a single box reaches a school.

That way your staff unpack laptops that are ready to hand straight to a teacher or a student.

04Held

We hold your order until your building is ready.

Every serial number also goes into your equipment register in the Hub, so nobody at your end has to type them in.

The warehouse is in the same building as the lab and the loading dock, and the register shows which items we’re still holding for you.
