Five kinds of buyer
Each kind of buyer uses a different mix of services.

01
Cities, villages and counties
Towns buy laptops for every department, networks and cameras for city buildings, council-chamber AV and managed IT from us, and our crews install the cameras and door access under our Illinois alarm contractor license.

02
K-12 school districts
Districts buy laptops and Chromebooks from us 1,300 to 1,600 at a time, imaged and asset-tagged, along with classroom displays on their stands and school Wi-Fi under E-Rate.

03
Colleges and universities
Campuses buy refreshes of more than a thousand machines, classroom AV and campus networks from us, and Illinois public universities can buy all three on IPHEC.

04
Hospitals and health systems
Health systems buy desktops and mini PCs from us by the thousand, imaged and tagged, along with medical carts we build in our lab and technicians who join their IT teams.

05
Businesses
Companies buy laptops set up and shipped to any office in the US, managed IT with a help desk that answers around the clock, and around Chicago, the cabling and AV for their offices.
How they pay
Buyers pay by contract, purchase order, E‑Rate or credit terms.
TIPS members can purchase technology and security systems through our TIPS contracts, while OMNIA Partners members can purchase through a contract with Promark Technology. Illinois public universities can purchase through IPHEC, and school districts can use our E-Rate Service Provider Identification Number (SPIN), 143033722, on their E-Rate forms. Your purchasing office can determine whether a contract meets your procurement requirements. If it does, you may be able to place an order without going through a separate bidding process.
If no contract fits, a purchase order is all we need, and a health system can cover a refresh that runs for several months with one blanket order. Businesses buy on credit terms we set when their account opens.

The Pace Municipal Suite
Police, fire and dispatch agencies run on software we write.
Developed in Naperville, Illinois, the Pace Municipal Suite serves more than 650 municipal clients and maintains a 98% renewal rate. The suite includes four programs: Pace Scheduler, Pace Timeclocks, Pace Policy Search, and Pace Secure AI. Police, sheriff, fire, and dispatch agencies across the United States and Canada use Pace Scheduler to manage their shift schedules.
If your police or fire department already schedules on Pace Scheduler, your town can buy its laptops, networks and cameras from the company that writes and supports that software.

Our crews
Crews from Pace go out on 600+ jobs a year.
Around Chicago, the networks, cameras, door access, and AV we sell are installed by our crews, and when a rollout calls for it, we’ve put more than 20 technicians on one site in a single day. Our electricians belong to IBEW Local 134 and are on our payroll, not a subcontractor’s.
Those 600-plus jobs work out to about a dozen every week. If you’re farther away, our managed IT and IT staffing reach anywhere in the US as well.
