Village of Hoffman Estates
NOW Arena Wi-Fi and a mobile camera trailer
We put Wi-Fi across both levels of NOW Arena and installed video surveillance for the village, including a mobile camera trailer.
Pace Systems has installed tens of thousands of cameras, and we do every job under Illinois alarm license 127001360. We can set up your cameras and your doors to run in one system instead of two. Our IBEW Local 134 electricians pull the cable, and the same company that quotes the job installs it, trains your staff and takes the service calls afterward.

What Pace installs
We install cameras inside and outside the building, and we set up the software your staff use to record and view them.
Card readers and locks can be managed in the same system as the cameras, so your staff don’t need a second program for the doors.
Door stations let the front desk see who is at the door before they open it.
We install loudspeaker paging and building-wide announcement systems in zones, so that one message can reach a single area or the whole building at once.
We install alarm panels, sensors and panic buttons when they’re part of a larger security job.
One system
We can set up one system to record the cameras and run the door access, so if you add a camera in the next building a year from now, it shows up in the same software as the first one.
We configure and test the equipment in our shop in Naperville before it reaches your building, so that less of the work has to be done on your premises.

The cabling
Our electricians run the copper to each camera and reader and the fiber between buildings, so the cabling isn’t handed off to another contractor. We are a signatory contractor of IBEW Local 134, and we take prevailing-wage and PLA work with certified payroll.
Before a crew starts, we write a safety plan for that site, and the crew also works to our 56-page construction safety program.
Licensed in Illinois
Illinois licenses the companies that install alarm and security systems, and it requires them to print the license number wherever they offer the work. Ours is No. 127001360, and you can look it up on the IDFPR’s license lookup before you sign anything.
Public buyers
Public buyers need papers on file before they can order, so we send our W-9, insurance and MBE certificates the same day they’re asked for.

NOW Arena Wi-Fi and a mobile camera trailer
We put Wi-Fi across both levels of NOW Arena and installed video surveillance for the village, including a mobile camera trailer.

Video surveillance at three courthouses
We installed video surveillance at three county courthouses, then trained the county’s staff to run it.

Video surveillance and keyless entry upgrades
We upgraded video surveillance at dozens of schools, and put in keyless staff entry and access-control upgrades at nearly 50.

A zoned PA system for two buildings
We installed loudspeakers inside and outside the complex and its annex, so all-call and one-way announcements reach employees clearly.
After the install
We hand over the drawings, the serial numbers and the programming files, and we train your staff on the system before we leave, so the people who use it every day know how it works.
We take service calls, and if you’d like us to handle the testing and upkeep, we also offer service agreements for that.
How to buy
If you’re not a TIPS member, you can simply send us a purchase order instead. Keep in mind that your purchasing office decides whether TIPS meets your rules and lets you skip a bid.
