Video surveillance and keyless entry upgrades
We upgraded video surveillance at dozens of schools, and put in keyless staff entry and access-control upgrades at nearly 50.

Pace Systems installed a zoned PA system at O’Hare’s Airport Maintenance Complex and its annex, so announcements are heard clearly in both buildings.

The Airport Maintenance Complex and its annex are working buildings, and the people in them need emergency and operational announcements they can hear and understand, so the job was to make every message intelligible across both of them.
That meant covering the inside of the buildings and the areas outside them as well, because the employees who need to hear a message aren’t always indoors when it’s given.
We installed a zoned system of loudspeakers inside and outside the maintenance complex and the annex, which means an announcement can go to the zone that needs it instead of to everyone at once.
All-call means a single announcement goes out to every zone in both buildings at the same moment, which is what an emergency needs. One-way paging means the maintenance manager speaks and the zones listen, and that covers the everyday messages a maintenance operation runs on.

Employees in both buildings now hear every message clearly, in an emergency and in the daily running of the complex.
