The Challenge
A company like Rust-Oleum needs its new laptops and PCs to arrive with the company’s software already loaded and an asset tag already on, so that its IT team isn’t setting up machines one by one.
Rust-Oleum is one of the companies of RPM International, and other RPM companies need the same.
The Solution
It’s a leased-PC program, so we supply the computers and set every one of them up in our lab in Naperville before it goes out to the company.
At one of the more than 100 stations in our lab, we load the company’s image onto each laptop or PC, put on its asset tag and record its serial number. The orders and the serial numbers are then in the Pace Hub, which comes with every account, so the company can look up what it has with us and where each order stands.
