Lecture capture across campuses
We built the lecture capture that lets Booth record more than 35 classrooms at once and send them as far as London and Hong Kong.
Case studyElectrical
Pace Systems replaced the fire alarm systems at two West Chicago School District 33 elementary schools in one summer, without a gap in protection.

West Chicago School District 33 had a limited summer construction window to replace the fire alarm systems at Wegner Elementary and Currier Elementary, and other trades were working in both buildings at the same time.
The existing systems also had to stay in service until the new ones were ready, because neither school could go without fire alarm protection while the work went on.
Instead of taking the old fire alarms out first, we installed the new cabling, devices, fire alarm equipment and battery backup systems while the existing systems kept running, and we only removed the old equipment once the new systems were ready.
We ran new cabling to every device at both schools and installed new panels and battery backup cabinets, so neither school’s new system depends on the old wiring. Our work was coordinated with the other trades to fit the same window.

Both schools started the year on new fire alarms, and both kept continuous fire alarm protection through the construction window.
