UChicago Medicine
Computer programs twice a year
Twice a year, UChicago Medicine buys a program of new computers from us on one blanket purchase order, and we image, asset-tag and install them.

Case studyDevicesIT staffing
Pace Systems imaged and asset-tagged nearly 4,000 HP mini PCs for Rush on one order.
Rush buys its computers from us by the thousand. Every one of them has to arrive with its software loaded, its asset tag on and its serial number on record, so that the hospital’s IT team can put it to work as soon as it’s unboxed.
We imaged every one of the nearly 4,000 HP mini PCs on one order, put on its asset tag and recorded its serial number, which is the work our lab’s more than 100 stations are there for.
We also built more than 150 Ergotron StyleView carts with LiFe battery power, and every cart carries a computer and monitor, a waterproof keyboard and a Zebra healthcare scanner. We assembled and cabled every cart in our lab, so they reached the hospital ready to roll out instead of in boxes.
We’ve placed PC-support technicians on site at Rush, along with electrical and security-camera technicians when the work called for them, and their time is tracked by the hour.

Tens of thousands of devices have gone to Rush, and they reach its IT team ready to put to work.

A spreadsheet or a part number is enough for us to quote from, and we usually quote standard items the same business day.
If the order needs imaging, asset tags or carts built, we’ll quote that work with it, so you can see the whole job in one quote.
