School District U-46, Elgin
Pace Systems assembled about 1,600 display stands for School District U-46, and delivered its laptops 1,300 to 1,400 at a time.
The Challenge
School District U-46 in Elgin needed SMART Boards and mobile display stands in its classrooms, and its laptops delivered in waves of 1,300 to 1,400, asset-tagged before they went out, so that each wave could go straight into the schools.
The Solution
We installed SMART Boards in about 110 of the district’s rooms, then assembled the Balance Box mobile display stands and put them into the classrooms.
We staged and tagged each wave of laptops in our warehouse in Naperville first, and they came to the schools on our trucks.
We have also provided technical staff to the district, and like all of our placements, their time was tracked by the hour.
